Be Kind Coffee Co. was started by the mother-daughter team of Natalie and Amanda Gogolak as the manifestation of our family’s long history of extending our love and passion for serving people and building community. This sentiment of bringing people together through food and drink goes back multiple generations, through time-honored recipes and techniques passed down from our great-grandmothers.

In 2020, in the midst of a turbulent and unprecedented year, we were driven to open Be Kind Coffee Co., during a time when we both felt the world needed more joy, even through something as simple as a cup of coffee and a smile.

Over many years, Natalie had built a reputation for being equally quick in conjuring up a tasty snack or funny story, turning the kitchen table into a place where friends and family were always welcome for food, drinks, and laughs.

Meanwhile, after a successful corporate career, Amanda longed to embark on a journey to have a more direct and tangible impact on the world and her local community.

After much discussion on how to realize our dreams, we decided to create Be Kind Coffee Co., a place where people could be invited to experience the warmth felt at our family table.

Alongside our dedication to serving high quality beverages and food, we will utilize Be Kind Coffee Co.’s success to support charities and humanitarian organizations across a variety of causes, further sharing our ethos of spreading kindness and helping others.
